Take me to the place where a girl child is given the same relevance and importance as a male child, where the girl child is taught to discover herself and pursue her dreams and her passions and not trained only to be good wives and mothers, where the education of the girl child is as important as that of a male child and parents don’t make such irresponsible statements like, "No matter how much you achieve or how far you climb, you will still end up in the kitchen." Take me to a place where comments like, "Women don’t talk when men are talking" become a thing of the past.
Take me to a place where the African girl is crowned with the glory she deserves.

ReplyDeleteNice. Most of this stated truth are gradually changing and would soon become a thing of the past.

ReplyDeleteSo true.. We are getting there already..
ReplyDeleteThat "place" will only be imaginary as long as we don't demand for it. This is what feminists have been fighting for; equal rights.
ReplyDeleteThe present reality of our time.... we move!!

ReplyDeleteA development we can't wait to see come to light fully!
ReplyDeleteSo true, we will get there
ReplyDeleteWe will get there.
ReplyDeleteYeah! We will! It's matter of time and effort. Women are seen doing great works everywhere.
