Sincerity and perfection?
They don't usually affect each other, except maybe when pride/ego is concerned.

This is a defense mechanism but in my explanation. It is when a perfectionist seems to see lies in what is good because he wants perfection (excessive lies in perfection)
I think inside perfection is excessive sincerity or excessive lies. We crave for perfection when we are sincere with ourselves and sometimes people crave for perfection from us without being sincere( e.g saying all we did was trash when in actual sense it's not, it just needed a little panel beating.

Perfection is to give your best and be satisfied with it... That's your perfect..
Because the fact is this; no one can give more than his or her best

In other words define what perfection mean to you( like I tell people be your own feminist, define your cause and why you are standing for it), am perfect not because I don't have flaws or because I know it all and how to do it all, but because there's a love that has bought me and defined me. Our perfection can't be attain without us being sincere to ourselves. Perfection is an identity begat through sincerity, this two go in hands because they are both personality we became when we are true to our self. Perfection is a mechanism by which we embrace ourselves regardless of our flaws using sincerity as a tool to stay true to ourselves.
