FAKE FRIENDS

I couldn't help but be  in thought 

Of how low you have become

We built our love on a strong bond 

But, you took a U turn

I was willing to take bullets 

Oblivious of who was behind the trigger

We dined and wined. Never knew all was fake and lies

Drowned in my own emotions 

I was deaf when called to attention 

I was told to beware

But, I couldn't bring myself to agree to what they said you were

Our friendship to you was a game

Where all your dirty tricks were to be played 

Whenever I hit big, I could call you my friend 

But, whenever I'm down, you just disappear 

You were meant to be my cover 

But you exposed me to haters

You smiled with me a thousand times 

But killed me a million times

Deep feelings you hurt

But, I'm more REAL than FALSE
