The Year 2020

The year 2020.. ..hmmm! First it was Corona and we were forced to stay indoors doing nothing, avoid contacts as though everyone had the virus, closed every source of income, and many died of not just the virus but fear, hunger, thoughts etc the list goes on and on and these happened for months and we were forced to wear masks everywhere even to our toilets at home. 

We fought and stood strong and survived and now you kill us that survived the covid, what was our crime? That we dressed nicely and drive cars at a young age. Maybe it's because these are things you didn't do when you were our age.

Then we asked that you should put a stop to police brutality and funny that we were even asking for a raise on your salaries but surprisingly, those whom we fight for are killing us and they used money to buy our brothers and now they kill us too.

 Our brothers who are supposed to be standing with us in this fight now defends the government for little stipends that can't sort out your problems.

What a pity!

Why are you like this?

Our mother land sheds so much tears this past weeks but a few days ago we had a blood bath of young generations who had hope that one day they will be somebody in the society.

This memory can never leave us as every day we reminisce of this day.

You killed them In cold blood and watched them die. All for power and selfish desires of money. When you finish killing us I guess you'll rule yourselves and your children? 

So much to say but can 2020 end already so we can start afresh.

God heal our land!
